Dawn was born in Akron, OH and raised in Venezuela and in the Midwest. Along with 26 years of experience, she is the founder of Dale Animal Hospital. In 1990, Dawn attended college at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She became interested in her profession as a veterinarian at age 6 when she got her first dog, Skeeter. She has four children (Aaron, Becky, Johnny, and Joey). Dawn also has two grandsons. Besides cooking, traveling, and enjoying sci-fi on her free time, Dawn attends to her 2 dogs, Rita, a Dachshund and Scarlet, a Doxie/Pomeranian and her many tropical fish.
Laura grew up in Sioux Center, Iowa and went to college to be a veterinarian at Iowa State University. She joined Dale Animal Hospital in 2004 . She has always had a passion to be a veterinarian. Laura likes having the opportunity to interact with both animals and people and the bond that exists between them. Being a veterinarian allows her to be a part of that bond every day. She is married to her husband Chad. They have two children, Taylor and Brady. Laura has 1 dog, Jacee, a German Shorthair Pointer. On her free time she loves spending time with her family outside, running, and reading.
Kim grew up in Harrisburg, South Dakota and went to school for veterinary medicine at Kansas State University. She wanted to become a veterinarian to combine her love for animals and science. Kim has been practicing for the last 4 years at a small animal clinic in Oregon. She recently moved back to South Dakota to be closer to family and just joined Dale Animal Hospital in 2019. Kim is married to her husband Branden and they have a 2 year old daughter named Piper. They have 2 dogs, a pomeranian named Pommi and a chihuahua named Chica, along with her cat Boo. She loves hiking and spending time outdoors with her family.
